AVR-1046 is combo of both ATMOS AVR and 8 Streaming 8-zone multi-room streaming amplifer, its power output capability is 16 x 100W, sothe total is 1600W.
The AVR-1046 is a full-featured flagship Dolby Atmos AV Receiver, capable of delivering immersive home theater audio configurations up to 10.4.6. It is designed as a high-performance central AV platform for advanced home theater installations, handling HDMI and eARC sources carrying Dolby Atmos content in both Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD formats, with full internal decoding and processing.
At the same time, the AVR-1046 functions as a complete 8-streaming, 8-zone multi-room streaming amplifier, powered by a total of 16 amplifier channels rated at 100W per channel (16 × 100W, 1600W total output). This makes it an ideal solution for distributing high-fidelity audio across multiple rooms or zones in a whole house or commercial building with pre-wired speakers.
The system supports flexible channel allocation through a shared 16-channel amplifier pool. All amplifier channels can be dedicated to the home theater zone for a full 10.4.6 Dolby Atmos configuration, allocated entirely to 8 independent multi-room zones, or dynamically shared between home theater and multi-room audio operation, depending on the user’s needs.
The AVR-1046 provides 8 independent input sources that can be freely assigned to any combination of the 8 zones. Different audio sources can be played simultaneously in different areas, or synchronized across zones for a unified listening experience.
Supported input and streaming options include Qobuz Connect, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, DLNA, Bluetooth, analog RCA, SPDIF, USB storage, and HDMI ARC/eARC. All system functions, including source selection, zone control, and playback management, are seamlessly controlled via the HoloHome mobile app.
AVR-1046-Redefining What an Amplifier Can Be.
Meet the AVR-1046, the world’s first amplifier to merge a Multi-Room Streaming Amplifier and a high-end AV Receiver into one unified masterpiece.
It’s not just an AVR – it’s the ultimate evolution of sound architecture, engineered for both whole-home audio and immersive home theater.
With support for Dolby Atmos 10.4.6, the AVR-1046 delivers cinematic precision, breathtaking spatial realism, and seamless streaming performance across every zone.

Yes. The AVR-1046 fully supports Dolby Atmos.
External source devices such as TVs, Blu-ray players, or other media players can output Dolby Atmos audio in E-AC-3 (Dolby Digital Plus) or Dolby TrueHD formats via HDMI or HDMI eARC to the AVR-1046.
Once received, the AVR-1046 performs full Dolby Atmos decoding, along with all advanced internal audio processing, channel routing, and amplification.
This significantly exceeds the maximum 9.1.6 configuration supported by the highest-end models from Denon, offering greater flexibility for large-scale immersive home theater installations.
In short:
The AVR-1046 is designed for true reference-grade immersive audio, supporting more channels, more subwoofers, and more height speakers than most mainstream AV receivers.
Yes — but they share the total available amplifier channels.
The AVR-1046 is built on a shared channel pool architecture. This means Home Theater and Multi-Room Audio zones can run simultaneously, but they draw from the same total channel resources.
For example:
Unlike traditional AVRs with fixed "Zone 2 / Zone 3" limitations, the AVR-1046 uses dynamic channel allocation, allowing installers to flexibly prioritize cinema or whole-home audio as needed.
In short:
The AVR-1046 allows home theater and multi-room audio to operate at the same time, with intelligent sharing of total channel resources, giving users flexibility without locking the system into a single use case.
Eclipsa Audio represents an emerging direction in next-generation immersive audio, based on object-oriented sound rendering and metadata-driven spatial audio. Its goal is to deliver highly flexible and scalable immersive experiences across a wide range of speaker layouts and system architectures.
The AVR-1046 is built on a high-performance immersive audio platform designed with significant processing headroom, advanced channel routing, and flexible rendering capabilities.
We are actively working on and evaluating support for emerging immersive audio formats, including Eclipsa Audio, as the ecosystem continues to evolve. Future support will depend on codec availability, licensing frameworks, and source-device compatibility, and may be enabled through firmware updates where applicable.
While we do not promise future codec support, the AVR-1046 hardware platform is engineered to be ready for next-generation immersive audio technologies.
